Coach’s/Manager’s Message

TCF Bank Team,

Tournament update - All the games are in and we finished tied for 4th with Beckman. Because we both scored the exact same amount of runs against each other, a coin flip tomorrow will decide the home team. So, we will be playing at 10:00 am on field 1 at Gilliam, please try and be there by 9:30. We are currenly at 10 players so if anyone other than Anna O. and Maddie know they will not be there, please let us know.

Our second game will be at 11:30 if we win and 1:00 if we lose. If we don't lose our first two games, we will be playing a third game on Saturday. The final game of the day would start at 2:30. So, we should be done by 4:00 with games.

Rob and I discussed end-of-season party at Legacy and since we are not playing there we are planning on a Snuffy's trip when we are done with games on Saturday as our end-of-season party and will use the money collected towards that. We hope this is okay with everyone. We also intend to play things a little by ear depending on our results on Saturday. If we make it to Sunday we might do things a little differently, so we hope you can remain flexible.

Speaking of the tournament there have been some changes to my previous messages. First of all, no games on Friday the 27th. We will, however be playing at least two, maybe three games on Saturday, the 28th, with the final games being played on Sunday, the 29th. Saturday's games will be played at Gilliam Fields instead of the High School, with Sunday's games back at the High School. Gilliam Fields are on the south side of Minnetonka Blvd between Hopkins Crossroads and Shady Oak Drive, see the mtkagirlssoftball.org website for further directions.
