Legacy Field Usage Policy

March/April/May:  Absolutely no team practices at Legacy:  Fields are recovering from winter, Varsity/JV teams are using fields frequently for practices and games, MGSA provides neighborhood fields to teams for practicing, and extremely high demand during this period. 

A bona fide scrimmage between a Minnetonka fastpitch team and an away team is permitted.  (Note that the Fastpitch league season starts about two weeks after the in-house league seasons.)

June:  No availability for team practices at Legacy.  Legacy is booked Monday through Thursday nights, Saturday afternoons and Sunday Afternoons and evenings.  Fields need recovery time as well.

July:  Typically only a few tournament teams playing, few games scheduled.  Coaches are permitted to schedule practices at Legacy using the online field scheduling tool.

August/September:  The In-House Second Season and Fastpitch Fall Ball seasons use Legacy on Fridays, Sundays and Mondays.  Field #4 unavailable to MGSA – in use as fall soccer field.  Coaches are permitted to schedule practices at Legacy using the online field scheduling tool.
